Angle PoetryThe UoG poets have been very busy lately, and after the success of events at the Cheltenham Poetry Festival we now have more good news to announce. First, third year student Rosanna Riches has had two poems published in the latest edition of Angle Poetry. Rosanna’s contributions are entitled ‘Scales’ and ‘Trending Beheading’ and the issue can be downloaded in its entirety here. Fellow third year Josh Martin has also received good new recently: he had a poem, ‘Office at Night,’ accepted for publication in Obsessed with Pipework poetry journal. The poem is an ekphrasic piece after a painting by the American artist Edward Hopper and is Josh’s first publication outside University.

New WritingNot to be outdone by her talented students, poetry lecturer Angela France has also had a new publication this week.  Her latest piece, ‘Tailor’s Chalk’, appears in the current issue of New Writing: The International Journal for the Practice and Theory of Creative Writing.  You can check it out here.
