senjaSenja Andrejevic-Bullock is a Serbian/British dramatist and a prose writer, whose short stories have appeared in The Lampeter Review, Brain, Child and The Wrong Quarterly, and who is the author of three plays. Her short play The Bargain won a competition by Touring Consortium Theatre Co and was performed script-in-hand on the main stage at The Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham. Senja’s monologue Skinny Dipping with Virginia Woolf was included in the professional production Voices from the Forest by Dreamshed Theatre and performed at The Everyman Studio. Her full length play The Wall is currently being developed for a professional production by the independent theatre company Shelter, in Belgrade, Serbia. Prior to this, The Wall made it to the longlist for the Bruntwood Prize, reaching the top 100 out of almost 2000 scripts in this biggest annual playwrighting competition in the UK, as well as reaching the shortlist of the Open Sessions competition by The Bristol Old Vic Theatre and, last but not least, reaching the top 5 in the national competition for Original New Drama in Serbia.

After completing her Master’s degree at our very own UoG, Senja embarked on her academic career and is currently teaching Drama Fundamentals and Advanced Drama to our first year and third year students. She lives in Cheltenham with her husband, two children and a whole lot of books.
